Q: How can I communicate a change of ownership or address?
A: A change of address or ownership can be communicated via our website. In the left hand column you will find the form that needs to be completed for this purpose. This costs € 4.50 and you will receive a certificate in the post, once the data has been processed.
|
Q: I have just submitted an address change via the Internet but when I checked the registration via “baasjeszoeker” I noticed it was not yet visible.
A: The new data will not be immediately visible. It takes about a week to process a change of address/ownership. We will send you a certificate once the details have been processed.
|
Q: Can I also communicate my address change on the phone or via a change of address card?
A: Unfortunately, that is not possible. You need to complete the change of details form on our website. This costs € 4.50 and you will receive a new certificate by post once the data has been processed. |
Q: How long does it take before the data I submitted via the website is processed?
A: This data will be processed in about a week. You will be sent a certificate as a confirmation.
|
Q: Is it also necessary to fill out the change of details form if I change my phone number?
A: If only your phone number has changed, you can communicate this to us via email (info@ndg.nl) or phone (0900-4040456). Don’t forget to mention your pet’s barcode. There is no charge for making this change. |
Q: I have reported my pet as “missing” with you but he/she has been found again. How can I cancel the missing pet report?
A: You can reply to the confirmation email that you received after reporting the pet missing. You can also send an email to info@ndg.nl, mentioning your pet’s barcode (chip number). |
Q: The registration form asks for a barcode. What is that?
A: The bar code is the same as a chip number. It is made up of of 15 digits and can be found with the bar code.
|
Q: The registration card I want to send asks for the passport number. I do not have it.
A: The passport number may be omitted during registration if it is not known. Registration takes place by means of the bar code (the chip number). It is especially important to correctly register your address and phone number (s) in case your pet goes missing unexpectedly.
|
Q: I would like to register more than one phone number. Is this possible?
A: You can submit up to a maximum of three phone numbers when registering.
|
Q: I enter my pet’s chip number in “pet-detective” but I get the message that my pet is not registered.
A: Have you entered the 15-digit bar code (the chip number) without leaving spaces between the digits? It is possible that your pet has been chipped but that the data has never been submitted to our database. Of course, you can then register your pet with us via the registration form on our website. This costs € 4.50 and you will receive a certificate by post, once the data has been processed. |
Q: I have just registered my pet at NDG. Can I now also request a badge?
A: You are advised to wait until your address has been correctly saved in our system before applying for a badge.
|
Q: I have ordered a badge. When should I receive it?
A: Een bestelling van een penning is na ongeveer drie weken afgehandeld.
|
Q: What information can I find on the badge that can be ordered for my pet?
A: This badge shows that the pet in question has been chipped. It also mentions NDG’s phone number so that, once the chip has been read, we can be contacted for details of the animal’s owner. |
